The rename function in a wiki is frequently used to enforce ((Naming conventions)). Any page with any name can be part of any of one or many of the defined ((categories)) in the wiki.
Who can rename pages is part of the ((groups)) and ((permissions)) system.
Renaming a page updates all links (which are ((backlinks))) to that page and that includes Menu items.
As of ((Tiki18)) an SEO-friendly 301 Redirect can be created so that access to the old named page via bookmarks or search engines won't fail.
