Multilingual Tags (formerly named Multilingual Freetags) freetags was added in 2.0 around March 2008

Activate 'Multilingual Tags' ( in i18n admin panel /tiki-admin.php?page=i18n)

Visit this page on your website:

/tiki-freetag_translate.php (example: yourdomain.com/tiki-freetag_translate.php)

Note that tags that were created on pages with no language set will remain universal (i.e. is the same tag in all languages) until a language has been set for the tag. Until then, they cannot be translated.
